DAY 1. Accra
Set off from Accra bright and early, bound for Akosombo. We may stop by at the Shai Hills Resource Reserve. Monkeys, baboons, birds and butterflies to encounter. After lunch we head for Akosombo. Swimming, canoeing and more available at the Royal Senchi beach Resort. Overnight at nearby hotel.
Day 2: Wli Waterfalls
We’ll proceed to explore and enjoy the Wli waterfall, a perennial waterfall close to the Ghana-Togo border. Never heard of anyone visiting this waterfall and regretting that they went – never. Overnight at Wli or Hohoe.
Day 3: Accra
Return to Accra but not before visiting the Tafi-Atome Monkey Sanctuary. In Accra we’ll sample the night life in Osu Oxford street where you’ll finds many people selling African wear and crafts. You can hone your bargaining skills here 🙂
