Boabeng-Fiema Monkey Sanctuary
Boabeng and Fiema are twin towns near Nkoranza in Bono Ahafo region of Ghana. Mona and black and white Colobus monkeys live as neighbors with the people of these towns because the locals believe that the monkeys are ‘the children’ of the local fetish.
There is rental accommodation available for visitors on the grounds of the Sanctuary.
